Andrew joined Paragon Search as Partner in 2016 with a focus on distressed, high yield & special situations credit. Prior to joining Paragon, he was a Partner and Head of the Fixed Income practice at Michelangelo Search, where he had worked since 2007, Prior to this Andrew spent two years as a researcher for a leading boutique asset management search firm. His focus has always been within the credit markets, specialising in trading and research. Andrew has built a strong reputation in this market across the sell-side and buy-side among top-tier banks, hedge funds, and alternative asset managers. He holds a BSc from Greenwich University in Economics & Econometrics.

James is a Managing Director and leads the Real Estate practice at Paragon Search Partners, operating across both debt and equity markets. He joined the business in 2018 and has been a specialist financial services recruiter for 16 years, working across real estate, securitisation, and structured credit.  He previously ran the Real Estate Debt practice at Armstrong International and began his career in search working for Kinsey Allen Consulting.  James has built a first-class reputation for delivering on senior level appointments, including complex requirements, both efficiently and effectively, working with a range of leading private equity firms, fund managers, investment banks and property companies across Europe.

Domhnall is a Managing Director at Paragon Search Partners where he works across distressed debt & special situations, leveraged loans & high yield bonds, as well as leading Paragon’s structured credit practice. He is responsible for running search processes as well as leading research and analysis, analysing compensation benchmarking exercises, analysing hiring trends, and producing market reports. Prior to joining Paragon in January 2017, Domhnall worked as a Research Analyst in New York for a top boutique Executive Search firm operating within Investment Management. He holds a master’s degree in chemistry from the University of Oxford.

Fred joined Paragon in London as Head of Capital Formation, US & Europe. He is responsible for originating and delivering mandates across Capital Raising, Product Specialist and Investor Relations functions. Fred specialises in advising private markets clients across the credit, infrastructure and real estate landscape. He joined in October 2023 from Bohill Partners, where he led their infrastructure business as well as all capital formation mandates across real assets.

Previously, Fred worked at the Dore Partnership where he was responsible for managing and executing C-suit assignments for alternative investment managers, family offices and real asset specialists in Europe and the USA. Before this, he worked for several boutique search firms focused on private markets and banking mandates. He started his career at JPMorgan on their European Equity Sales and Trading desk. Fred holds a Bachelors degree in Geography from Newcastle University.

Pavlos joined Paragon Search Partners as a Graduate in 2020 where he covers infrastructure & real estate across Europe and North America. He is responsible for running search processes in addition to extensive market mapping, research, and analysis into the real assets markets. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business with Finance from University of Brighton.

Nirmal joined Paragon Search Partners as a graduate in 2021 where he covers distressed debt & special situations and CLOs across Europe and North America. He is responsible for running search processes as well as conducting wholistic market research. He holds a BSc in Accounting and Financial Management from Loughborough University.

Sam is a Partner in the business and Head of U.S. Credit at Paragon Search Partners, focused on U.S. distressed & special situations investing, and is based in New York. He joined Paragon Search Partners in 2016 to focus on credit investing, having previously worked with Andrew Perry as a Researcher in the Fixed Income Practice at Michelangelo Search.  Sam began his career at Deloitte on a gap-year internship programme in the Private Client Services practice, which was extended through his years at University.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from the University of Birmingham.

Dominic joined Paragon in 2018. He leads the US real estate practice responsible for hiring investment professionals across both real estate debt and private equity markets. He was previously a senior member of the European Real Estate team before relocating to New York to lead Paragon’s US coverage. Dominic was previously a professional hockey player and was part of the Great Britain Development Squad in the lead up to Rio 2016. He graduated with a Master’s degree in International Financial and Political Relations from Loughborough University.

Bruce qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG, subsequently working in investment banking at Natwest Markets, before starting a career in the executive search industry in 1997. In 2001 Bruce founded Kinsey Allen Consulting, selling that business to a private equity group in 2010. Bruce subsequently founded Paragon Search Partners.  Bruce co-heads both the Alternative Credit and Infrastructure & Energy practices at Paragon.

Philippa joined Paragon Search Partners as a Managing Director in 2021 where she co-leads the Infrastructure & Energy practice focussing on the equity markets. Prior to joining Paragon, Philippa spent the first 10 years of her search career at Arkesden Partners, she was a Partner and Head of the Energy & Infrastructure practice. Having solely focused on the infrastructure and energy markets, Philippa has a strong track record and reputation in the space working with top tier global private equity funds, investment managers and institutional investors. She holds a BA degree from Exeter University in Geography.

She is responsible for running searches for infrastructure investment teams, asset management teams and portfolio companies whilst also leading research and analysis of the infrastructure market; market mapping, compensation benchmarking, and analysing hiring trends. Hannah began her search career in 2018 within a financial services recruitment firm in London where she was a Principal Consultant specialising in Wealth Management. She holds a BA in English Literature from University of Southampton.

Harry joined Paragon in 2019 where he covers direct lending, distressed debt & special situations, and private equity across Europe and North America. As well as running search processes, he produces research for clients including compensation analysis, hiring trends, market mapping & quarterly market reports. Prior to joining Paragon, Harry started his career with a global commodities search firm, executing mandates for trading, analysis and quantitative strategies across Europe in the front office practice. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science & International Relations from Newcastle University.

Bella started her career at a financial services search boutique, covering public and private markets across Front Office Trading and Distribution. She holds a BA (Hons) in Ancient and Medieval History from the University of Birmingham.

Rob joined Paragon in New York to lead coverage of Infrastructure and Real Estate Private Equity clients across the Americas. Prior to joining Paragon, Rob was a Director at Sheffield Haworth in the Global Real Assets practice where he helped build the Real Estate and Infrastructure practice areas. Prior to Sheffield, he worked as a Real Assets Consultant with Sousou Partners. Rob graduated from Lehigh University with a BS in Finance and has an MBA from Universidad de Huelva, Spain. He is fluent in Spanish. 

Dominic joined Paragon in 2017. He is responsible for executing assignments across both real estate debt and private equity markets. Further responsibilities include research and analysis, the production of market maps and reports, as well as managing and analysing salary benchmarking exercises. Dominic was previously a professional hockey player and was part of the Great Britain Development Squad in the lead up to Rio 2016. He graduated with a Master’s degree in International Financial and Political Relations from Loughborough University.

Matthew joined Paragon as an Associate in 2024, focused on U.S. distressed and special situations investing. He is responsible for executing searches for various investment teams, conducting market research and analysis, and providing insights into compensation benchmarking, market mapping, and hiring trends within the space. Prior to joining Paragon, Matthew began his career at GoBuyside, where he specialized in recruiting for private equity, growth equity, venture capital, and private debt strategies. He graduated summa cum laude from Colgate University and holds a BA in Sociocultural Anthropology.
